It is a very historical city that is located in Southern Rhode Island. It is also a town that I received a post-it note for. Just west of the city of Washington D.C. lies the city of Arlington, Virginia. It's just a ten to fifteen minute metro ride from the heart of Washington D.C. It is home to one of the most moving stops in the area and part of my most recent post-it note trip to Washington D.C. The Arlington National Cemetery was established in 1864 after the Union confiscated the land that once belonged to Ulysses S. Grant. The experience on Amtrak was absolutely amazing. So many great places I was able to see on my journey from Washington D.C. to Providence, RI amazing.
