Learning about the various species of animals and sealife can be vary challenging. There is one such place that a individual recommended to me by post it note. It is located at the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.

The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History is absolutely fascinating. The museum has every known species of mammals, birds, sealife, reptile, and other creatures to walk on Earth throughout History. The moment you walk through the entrance there is a massive Elephant on display to greet you. In front of that same location there is a information booth to assist you with any questions you may have. From there there are several exhibits on the first floor including the Mammals Hall, Human Origins Hall, Oceans Hall, Birds od DC, FossiLab, and Fossil Hall. Once finished with the first floor head up to the second floor for the Bison Standing Tall Exhibit, The Lights Out Exhibit, Geology Hall, Gems and Minerals Gallery, Bones Hall, Ancient Egypt, and Cellphone: Unseen Connections Exhibit. There is dining available at the Atrium Cafe. There's also a great gift shop to pick up that ever lasting memory from the museum.

They are open seven days a week from 10:00 am until 5:30 pm. Your closest Metro Ride is at the L'Enfant Plaza. Check out the Museum Of Natural History at The Smithsonian when visiting Washington D.C. #ridingwithkurt #postit #smithsonianmuseums
