A couple weeks ago prior to my trip to Washington D.C. an individual provided me on of their favorite places to explore in this area on a post-it note. It is located just Northeast of The D.C. area and it is a very walkable area with plenty of great stops. There are no shortage of monuments, fountain, restaurants, shops, and historical finds.
Dupont Circle is an area,I explored yesterday when I arrived. Some of my stops to the circle included the Daniel Webster Monument, The Australian Embassy, Hahnemann Statue, Saw the outside of the Embassy of Hungary, and the fountains at Dupont Circle. There was no shortage of restaurants or shops in this area of Washington D C. The Dupont Circle Fountains were quite magnificent along with the other stops along the way.
This area of Washington D.C. is only 15 to 20 minutes Northeast of The Mall. You can easily get here by the Metro which I have been utilizing for traveling around the city. Dupont Circle is one place to check out when visiting Washington D.C. #ridingwithkurt #postit
