Baseball is a great past time in America. My last night was a post-it note stop that several individuals provided me recommendations for. The area is located just south of the Washington D.C. area.
The Nationals Park offered a great game last night between the Washington Nationals and San Diego Padres. The stadium itself has plenty of great dining options around the park that you can grab a drink or bite to eat prior to the first pitch. They are located on Half Street and 5th Street. Once you enter the park there are concessions, vendors, and shops to pick up some Nationals merchandise. There is not a bad view inside the park. I sat in section 228 which had a great view of the home field side. I even got there early to the park where I enjoyed batting practice. The atmosphere at the park was lively with great entertainment between innings. The concession food I had was very good along with the beverages. They even had a great seventh inning stretch with "Take Me To The Ballgame". Although the Nationals lost it was still a great experience.
The Nationals Stadium has plenty of more great games and concerts this summer. To get to and from the Nationals Park use the Metro Rail with drop off and pick up location at the Navy Yard and Ballpark stop it was only $2.55. If you're a fan of baseball or just looking forward to a Washington D.C. event then head to Nationals Stadium this summer. #ridingwithkurt #postit #baseball #mlb #nationals
