Three Fantastic Stops In Nevada!!!

In March of 2023 I made my first post it note trip. It was a experience that I will never forget, I was putting this idea to the test by traveling to various areas of the world with my quest to see all seven continents by post it note based on the individuals that I have provided rides to from all over the world.

My first trip was to Las Vegas, Nevada and it was an amazing experience that made a lasting impression. Here are three stops that I truly enjoyed this area that I truly enjoyed that were recommended to me by post it note. The first was the Hoover Dam which offered majestic views of both the Colorado River and Lake Mead. This historic Dam offers a visitor center, tours, and even dining. It is located about thirty minutes east of the city of Las Vegas. The second was Red Rock Canyon which is northwest of the city and offers great views and hikes of the desert. The third is the Valley of Fire located northeast of the city. The state park offers a great drive while allowing areas to park to hike around the area.

For hotels I stayed at the Hyatt Place located just a short distance from the Vegas Strip. The rooms were very nice along with the beds were very comfortable and the service was excellent. For a great hidden gem for dining check out Viva Las Vegas that offers incredible food from South America. A trip to these areas of Nevada are amazing and I found that late March was a great time of year to visit. Add a stop to this area of the southwest on your next western trip in 2026. #ridingwithkurt
