Last night I made a stop at a popular dining stop in Fort Lauderdale, FL that is located more on the south end of Fort Lauderdale. This place was actually recommended to me by post it note from an individual because they previously worked there but now live in Nashville, TN. This stop has two restaurants in one building where you can order from both menus.

Coconuts and G & B Oyster Bar offer a incredible seafood dining. Their menus range from appetizers, salads, shareable style seafood tapas, entrees, and deserts. For my starter I had the fried oysters from G & B which were fantastic. They oysters were fried to perfection and served with cocktail sauce. The fried oysters were very flavorful, seasoned properly, tender, and balanced well with the cocktail sauce. For the entree I had the crabcakes from Coconuts which were amazing with large lumps of crab in each cake and sits on top of a mustard sauce with a choice of side. I had the coleslaw which was very good. For the desert I went with the South Florida classic the Key Lime Pie from Coconuts. It was a truly a awesome, it is made in house and topped with whip cream.

They do offer a full bar with all sorts of creative adult beverages. I had their Mai Tai which is always a tropical favorite. The service is awesome and ambiance very vibrant. Expect long wait times during the busy times of year but is well worth the wait. They are open for both lunch and dinner. Add a stop at Coconuts and G& B when visiting Fort Lauderdale, FL. #ridingwithkurt #delta #postit #southflorida
