East Coast Dining: Three Delicious Seafood Stops!!!
One thing about the visiting the East Coast of the United States is the seafood dining experiences. Over the course of this year I have had some exceptional seafood dining places that were recommended to me by post it note. Here are three places that I enjoyed seafood dining in three different cities along the East Coast.
In sunny Florida in the town of Fort Lauderdale there is one seafood dining stop that offers exceptional views of the harbor on 15th Street. 15th Street Fisheries has an awesome menu that offers locally sourced seafood. There are two levels but the second floor offers an upscale dining experience. The New England Clam Chowder is absolutely delicious with minced clam in a smoky creamy broth with potato, celery, onion, and smoky bacon. For entrees the Pan Roasted Grouper is so good with Pan Seared Grouper on top of a mixture of Organic Quinoa, Shitake Mushrooms, Baby Corn, White Vermont Cheddar, Garlic Cream Sauce, and topped with Fried Onions.
In the town of Annapolis, MD there is one stop that offers a true taste of Maryland. Carol's Creek located just south of the town offers an amazing Crab Cake. The Crab Cake is about ninety percent crab and so flavorful. It is served on top of mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach with a tasty mustard vinaigrette.
This one place is a hidden gem for seafood in Rhode Island. In the town of Warren, RI there is a dining stop that will get your taste buds moving and spectacular views of the Barrington River. The Wharf located in the heart of Warren, RI has some incredible seafood dishes. The Lobster Bisque is absolutely amazing with hints of lobster in a creamy bisque and topped with diced lobster. The Fish and Chips is spectacular with fresh Cod dipped in a batter and fried to perfection. Served with crispy fries, slaw, and tartar sauce.
All three locations offer fantastic service along with a great ambiance. Each location offers great activities for things to do. Add a stop at either of these three locations when visiting Fort Lauderdale, FL, Annapolis, MD, or Warren, RI. #ridingwithkurt #postit
