Red Rocks Ampitheater Morrison, Colorado!!!

Over the past four years I have traveled to Colorado three of them. Two of these trips were part of my post it note journey. all three of those trips consisted of a music venue that offers great shows, nature, and views of the valley below.

Attending a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a incredible experience. The historic music venue is where plenty of awesome bands have had their careers take off including U2. The Amphitheatre is located in Morrison, CO which is about 30 minute west of Denver, CO. It is the world's only naturally occurring music venue that was built in 1941. A concert here will leave unforgettable memories for this legendary place. The views of the valley below are amazing and get there early to get that great parking spot while tailgating with others prior to the show. The gates generally open an hour prior to the show. The calendar has already been released with the first show starting on March 27, 2026. Some of the amazing artists that will be performing at Red Rocks this season include Lord Huron, Paul Simon, Big Head Todd and The Monsters, Sublime, and many more. If you have always wanted to check out a show then this is your year to check out a concert there.

For hotels I generally stay in Denver Tech at either the Hyatt House or Hyatt Place. The hotels are very conveniently located just south of Downtown Denver. The rooms are very comfortable and both offer a great complimentary breakfast buffet. For dining near Morrison head to Idaho Springs for a great pizza experience at Beau Jo's Pizza. This is one concert experience at Red Rocks Amphitheatre that will add lasting memories. #ridingwithkurt
