Outdoors and Dinining In Big Sky Country!!!

Yesterday I was providing a ride to an individual who was visiting Nashville. We were discussing travel and I asked him which city does he like traveling to. They told me that Bozeman, MT was one of their favorites.

Bozeman, MT was a place I have always enjoyed visiting even when I lived in Montana. About a year and a half ago I made another post it note journey to this great town. If you have never been to Bozeman then this is a place to add this summer. They have so many great outdoor experiences around the area. If you are an avid hiker then head up to Big Sky for hikes around the ski mountain. For Fly Fishing book a trip through Montana Troutfitters. They offer excellent fly fishing trips on the Yellowstone, Gallatin, and Madison Rivers. My guided trip included a fully guided trip on the Yellowstone River which included lunch. We started around 8:00 am and the float was about 12 miles which ended around 5:00 pm. The guide who was born and raised from the Livingston area next to Bozeman definitely new the river and put me on to the fish. The amazing part of this guided trip is that I gave the owner's daughter a ride months before this trip and she provided me a post it note for this great fishing experience.

For two dining options in Bozeman, MT that I enjoyed on this trip they included Makenzie River Pizza Company and Copper Grill. I found mid August as a great time to visit Bozeman, MT as it was not that hot. For hotels I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Bozeman. The rooms were comfortable and clean with a continental breakfast. For the limited amount of time I was the hotel it served its purpose. Look at adding Bozeman, MT this summer for great fishing and hiking. #ridingwithkurt #delta #postit #montana
