The city of Chicago has so many great features to this town. The architecture is absolutely fascinating along with the art pieces. There is one that is located in the Loop area just south of the Riverwalk and part of the post it note experience of my trip to the Windy City.
Legendary architect Anish Kapoor who began a project in 2004 for a site that has a unique experience. In 2006, The Bean also known as the Cloud Gate is a resemblance the the liquid mercury would be completed. It is a fascinating structure that has 168 stainless steel plates that cleaned daily. The views of The Bean from every angle offers not only reflections of you but the surrounding Chicago skyline. This structure is an iconic piece to the city but also one that cost $23 million dollars to construct.
The Bean serves as a center point to the area in Millennium Park. This can be visited any time of day or night while checking out the area. The Bean is worth the stop and take in the immaculate beauty this art piece has to offer. #ridingwithkurt #postit #thebean
