Maggie C. Daley was a longtime first lady to the city of Chicago who was committed to the improvements of the city. She had a vision for the improvement of the children and the city and although she never got to see her vision come true it is still carried throughout the city with certain parts. She would pass away at the age of 68 with her long time battle of breast cancer. Today there is one park in the city that I discovered while on my recent post it note visit to the Windy City.

Near The Bean in the Loop area of Chicago there is the Maggie Daley Park that offers all sorts of great activities as well as beautiful gardens. It is a very large park located in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. Some of the activities include climbing wall, scooter rental, roller blade, mini golf, play garden, cancer survivor gardens, and many more great activities. There are plenty of walking paths around the park that offer great views of not only the activities, gardens, and the views of the architecture surrounding the park.

The park is open seven days a week from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm. It is only a fifteen minute walk from the riverwalk area or you can access the area by the t-rail. If you are a fan of city parks then check out Maggie Daley Park in Chicago, Il. #ridingwithkurt #postit #maggiedaleypark
