Hall's Catch Nashville, TN!!!

Sometime ago a individual provided me a post it note recommendation for a new restaurant that opened up in the Nashville, TN area back in 2024. The other night I gave a ride to someone who worked for the restaurant group that is origins are based out of Charleston, SC. The concept is an incredible seafood dining experience where their seafood is flown in fresh daily from all over the world on Delta Air Lines.

I first learned about the Hall dining experience when I was living in Charleston, SC. The Hall family has always provided some of the best dining experience in the low country of South Carolina. In fact when I was a culinary instructor in Charleston several of my students worked for the Hall family. Today they have multiple locations and their newest location in Nashville, TN has taken off.

Hall's Catch is a sophisticated seafood dining experience located on West End. The menu ranges from caviar, sushi, appetizers, salads, and entree items along with an extensive wine list. For the starter I had their Bill's Tomato Salad (named after the original owner) which has sliced tomatoes, red onion, shakerag spirited blue cheese, and topped with a delicious buttermilk bleu cheese dressing. The entire dish was fabulous and the balance of the flavors with the sweetness of the tomatoes, the spiciness of the red onion, and the tangy blue cheese crumbles and the creamy dressing. For the main course I had the Scallops which were absolutely delicious. The scallops are seared and cooked to perfection. They had a sweetness and tenderness that were absolutely delicious and served in a very tasty bacon broth with roasted celery root and chives. Highly recommend a glass of the Ellena Walch Pinot Grigio based out of Italy with both these dishes.

The service is immaculate and top notch. The bartenders and servers were very knowledgeable about both the menu, wine pairings, and all aspects of the dining experience.
