The other evening my last ride was a couple from the amazing state of Utah. Utah is a place that I have always enjoyed traveling to and it has been a great part of my post it note journey. One thing that Utah has is exceptional National Parks along with incredible hiking. Here are two places to add for great hiking in Utah.

The first stop is located in the eastern portion of Utah and one that I will always enjoy. Arches is absolutely incredible and has over 2000 natural arches. There is a visitor center that you park at and learn about the park. There is also a wonderful gift shop at the visitor center that you can get various souvenirs. The park has so many stops at that you can park at and immerse yourself in the beauty the park has to offer. Allow yourself at least two days to enjoy the park and make sure you have plenty of snacks and water available. Some of the stops that I enjoyed include Double Arch, Landscape Arch, Navajo Arch, Balanced Rock, and more. Make sure that you make reservations for the park as it is needed.

The next stop is located in the Southwestern area of Utah and this is one National Park that will add everlasting memories. The entrance to the park has a visitor center, gift shop, and where you park to to take the shuttle to get ready for your adventure. There are a total of eight stops in the park that offer various levels of hiking. You will want to make sure that you have at least three days to explore the park. The area that I enjoyed was the Riverside Walk that offered a great hike along the Virgin River. This is the last stop for the park but was very enjoyable.

For hotels near Arches check out Super 8 which is located in Green River, while in Zion Ramada Inn in Saint George. Just outside of Zion there is a great restaurant called Whiptail Grill that offers great Southwestern cuisine. In Green River for dining head to Tamarisk Restaurant for a great Eastern Utah dining experience. Late May or early June to visit these National Parks. Ensure that you purchase your National Park Pass that is only $80.00. Add a stop for exceptional hiking in Utah. #ridingwithkurt #postit #utah #nationalparks
