Death Valley, California!!!

In 1881 a individual named Aaron Winters discovered an investment that would eventually pay off. The area was located in southern California and would eventually become a highly visited area. The mined product would be known as Borax and it would be profitable to those in the late 1880's and early 1900's.

I had the opportunity to visit this area of California over three years ago on one of my first post it note trips. Death Valley California lies nearly 282 feet below sea level. It is best visited in the cooler months from November to April. I had the opportunity to visit this incredible valley three years ago and it did not disappoint. There are several of stopping points with the drive throughout the are and it was unforgettable. The wild part of this journey as it sits below 282 feet below sea level there is no sound and everything you see is in silence. The history of the area is remarkable and the fact that individuals have survived from the Borax trade to the current times is unbelievable.

There is post it note recommendation that I have that I look forward to returning to this area of Southern California. It is for the celestial experience. It is supposed to be one of the most incredible celestial sightings in North America.
