You Can't Go Wrong With Idaho!!!

There are so many great states to travel to out west. Over my lifetime I have always enjoyed traveling to the Western United States. There is one state that you can never go wrong with that offers exceptional outdoor activities and I have received plenty of post it note recommendations for.

I first made my way to Idaho when I was living in Montana and did a ski trip at Schweitzer, ID that was absolutely awesome. Four years ago I made my way back to Idaho for a trip that included a friends wedding and flyfishing on the South Fork of the Snake River near Idaho Falls, ID. The flyfishing was incredible and my go to fly shop was Jimmy's Fly Shop. For two days I would find peace along the banks of the river catching both Rainbow and Brown Trout. Three years ago with a post it note journey that covered over 1,800 miles I would return to this area as I found the town of Idaho Falls, ID as a great stop for access to Yellowstone National Park. It is only an hour and a half away and the hotels are very affordable.

This area of Idaho is great to visit any time of year but late May through November are some of the best months. For hotels in Idaho Falls, ID I discovered Comfort Suites Idaho Falls that offers very large hotel rooms, a great breakfast, and located in the heart of the city. I look forward to returning to Idaho and discovering more of the beauty this state has to offer.
