There is so much diversity of places to visit in the State of Tennessee. Last night I was talking to a couple of Belmont students about one of the places they were from. This city in Tennessee offers great history, food and has a great downtown with activities for all ages plus there are even stops that were recommended to me by post it note.
Chattanooga, TN is located in the southeastern area of Tennessee and is only an hour and forty five minutes from Nashville along Interstate 24. There are so many excellent places to check out including Lookout Mountain, The Tennessee State Aquarium, The Hotel Chalet (formerly called the Chattanooga Choo Choo), Chickamauga Battle Field, Ruby Falls, The Incline Rail, The Children's Science Museum, and the downtown area. Some dining options that I have enjoyed throughout the area of Chattanooga include Hi Fi Clydes, The Hot Chocolatier, and The Top of the Rock. There are plenty of hotels throughout the city and it has a great area to walk down to the Cumberland River near the aquarium. Additionally, the city becomes quite festive during the Christmas season.
Chattanooga is a great city to visit and is also only an hour and forty five minutes from Atlanta. The city does have a small regional airport near the downtown area. Add a visit to Chattanooga on your next trip to Tennessee. #ridingwithkurt
