Train travel in the United States began in 1827 with the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. By 1869 the transcontinental railroad would become a connection as the golden Spice would be placed with the Union Pacific and Central Pacific Lines. In 1971 Amtrak would arrive and it would be established as part of American travel that would daye back to ths early history of travel on the railroad.
On my recent post it note trip this railroad experience became a really with my Amtrak travel from Washington D.C. to Providence, RI. The Amtrak station known as Union Station offers so much to explore. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, and other places to check out when utilizing this train station in Washington D.C. if you are a bagel lover then there one place to check out. Bullfrog Bagels is located in. The heart of Union Station in Washington D.C. and is worth checking out. They have a wide variety of bagels along with some incredible toppings. I had their H.H S. which includes house smoked salmon, Cream Cheese, Tomato, Red Onion, Capers & Black Pepper. The bagel was,fresh and offered amazing flavor with the entire item and was absolutely delicious.
The flavors are awesome and it's a great before you head to your next destination on Amtrak. You can get tp so many locations from Washington D.C. Look at adding a great adventure with this experience in Washington D.C. while traveling on Amtrak. #ridingwithkurt #postit
