BBQ In Tennessee!!!

When it comes to Tennessee and food there is one type of cuisine you can not go wrong with is BBQ. Nashville and Memphis are known for great BBQ for the state of Tennessee. Over the past years I have always enjoyed the BBQ that my state offers. Here are four places that I have enjoyed that were recommended to me by post it note. Here are two stops in Nashville and in Memphis.

The first stop is located in the Gulch area of Nashville, TN. It offers great BBQ and has been a well established stop for some time. Peg Leg Porkers offers exceptional BBQ. They have a variety of smoked pork items but their pulled pork sandwich is one to add to the experience. They have great southern sides as well.

The next place has multiple locations throughout the city of Nashville, TN. It offers amazing BBQ with all sorts of platters. Martin's BBQ is one stop to add when looking for BBQ. One of their platters that I have enjoyed is the BBQ Platter where you pick two meats along with two sides. Their ribs and pulled pork along with baked beans and potato salad will not leave you disappointed.

Down in Memphis there is a place that has been smoking Ribs for over fifty Years. Rendezvous BBQ is located in the heart of Memphis and this place is a legend. The Ribs are smoked daily and you can literally smell the the smoke as you walk into the establishment. The Ribs will not leave you disappointed along with their Baked Beans.

Finally just outside the city of Memphis is another stop that has been doing BBQ for some time. Central BBQ has gotten so popular that there are even locations in Nashville, TN now. The ribs and other dishes will provide a true taste of Memphis, TN. They have a extensive menu and you will walk out very satisfied.

All four spots offer great service along with a great ambiance. There is even live music at Martin's BBQ on 4th Avenue South in downtown Nashville, TN. Add a stop to one of these four places when visiting both Nashville, TN or Memphis, TN. #ridingwithkurt #postit #bbq #tennesee
