One evening, a rider told me about one of her favorite eatery near Franklin, TN. Barbara's Home Cooking has been serving amazing food since the late 1990s. They offer classic Southern dishes from fried chicken, roast beef, Crab Cakes, pork chops, and other excellent dishes and sides. Today, I had their Poppyseed Chicken. Shredded chicken mixed with a cream sauce and cracker topping. This dish was awesome and emense flavor with the sauce , chicken, and toppings. The sweet potato casserole was excellent, as well as the green beans. The service was superb, and the ambiance had a rustic but cozy feel. This is definitely a hidden gem that you should check out when visiting the Nashville or Franklin area. #ridingwithkurt
