Yellowstone National Park Wyoming!!!
Summer is always a big time of year for travel. There are so many great destinations in the United States to explore including many National Parks. There is one National Park that allows you to see the west in a way that it originally looked especially with the wildlife and part of my post
Yellowstone National Park located in the Northwest corner of Wyoming and includes potions of Idaho and Montana is a remarkable place. It was established as not only America's first National Park but the World's first National park in 1872. The park was founded by President Ulysses Grant and wanted to protect an area of incredible beauty and nature. The park covers nearly 2.2 million acres and has plenty of wildlife. There are various entry points into the park with a costs of $30 or free with the Annual Park Pass. The entry point I went through is the West Gate and it offered great views of the wildlife including Grizzly Bears, Buffalo, Elk, Deer, wolves, eagles, and other various species. There are plenty of great hiking trails throughout the park and offer a genuine beauty. For one reliable feature in the park there is Old Faithful where every ninety minutes the historic geyser erupts. There are other geysers and blue pools throughout the area including the Sapphire Pool. There are several gift shops throughout the park and visitor centers. Hotels and Inns are located across the park which offer comfortable stays while enjoying the beauty of the area. I found that early June is a great time of year to visit but you can visit it any time of year.
Just outside the park there is a great dining experience in the West Gate called the Slippery Otter has a series of great menu items. For hotels I stayed in Idaho Falls at the Comfort Suites which is only an hour and a half a way. Look at adding Yellowstone National Park for your next great National Park when visiting Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. #ridingwithkurt #postit
