Over the last year and a half I have connected through the Minneapolis/ Saint Paul Airport on Delta Air Lines with three different post it note trips. If you have never experienced the food scene at the MSP airport it is absolutely amazing. Plus there is plenty of great shops and other things to do while you are waiting for your flight.

On my most recent post it note trip to San Antonio, TX I had some time to grab me a bite to eat. One of the places that I found was a place that someone had mentioned to me has amazing food. Stone Arch located in the Delta Terminal at the Minneapolis Airport offers a little bit of everything. They have great breakfast items, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entree dishes, and beverages. Plus they offer a wide variety of local brews. I had their Walleye Sandwich which is a Minneapolis original and was absolutely delicious. The fish is grilled and seasoned with old bay seasoning and topped with lettuce, tomato, and garlic aioli served on a delicious French Bread. Served with tasty fries the entire dish was excellent. I also had their Bloody Mary that has a whole lot going on with it with celery, pickle, cheese curds, and a full chicken wing. The drink was very good and one that I would recommend especially if you are a fan of a good Bloody Mary. The service was excellent along with a relaxed ambiance.

The Stone Arch is one of many great dining experiences at MSP. Two other restaurants that I have enjoyed are the Cook and the Ox and Northern Soul Fried Chicken. I have been connecting through the Minneapolis airport since 1995 when it was the original hub to Northwest Airlines. Today the MSP airport offers a incredible connection experience especially when flying on Delta Air Lines to anywhere in the world. Make sure you check out Stone Arch when passing through the Minneapolis on your next adventure. #ridingwithkurt
