The city of Nashville was founded in the modern era by the small business, local restaurants, and entrepreneurs. The Germantown area of Nashville offers plenty of these. Last night I made a stop at a local market that I had featured before and had been recommended to me by a post it note that offers some amazing treats.

Spread Market and Larder is a quaint little market that offers amazing fresh baked goods, wines, charcuterie items, and daily sandwiches. The homemade sourdough bread is made daily and is absolutely delicious. The outside of the bread is very crispy with a very soft center. Additionally, the service and knowledge about their items and wines is very knowledgeable. The market is located on Fifth Avenue North in Germantown. It is open seven days a week from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm.

The market is located about eight minutes from downtown Nashville. The Nashville Farmers Market, Tennessee State Museum, and Bicentennial Mall. Add a stop at Spread Market and Larder for all your local charcuterie, baked goods, and wine. #ridingwithkurt
