Mudgy Moose Trail Coeur d'Alene, ID!!!!
In the city of Coeur d'Alene a local author Named Susan Nipp created a fun childrens book that was published in 2008. The story is about a moose named Mudgy who has to venture through the city looking for his friend Mille the mouse. The story takes you throughout the city to discover the town and eventually where the two friends are united.
Today the real trail is there where those of all ages can follow the path as the trail begins near the marina and a trailhead. It is called the Mudgy Moose Trail and it was absolutely delightful to be apart of a couple days ago. There are a total of five parts to this with a statue of Mudgy at each part of the trail throughout the city of Coeur d'Alene. There are a total of five stops that include the Library, throughout the downtown, the city park, and Independence point. Each stop has a fun fact about the area and is in line with the original story of Mudgy and Millie finally coming together at Independence Point. This is a wonderful activity for all ages and offers great fun facts about the city of Coeur d'Alene.
If you have kids or just looking for a fun way to see the city of Coeur d'Alene then this is one to add. The walk takes just about one to two hours depending how long you spend at each part. Add the Mudgy Moose Trail when visiting this fun town for all ages and part of my post it note journey to Idaho. #ridingwithkurt #postit
