The week has begun here in the Music City and it may be hot but there is no shortage of events this week. Nissan Stadium, The Pinnacle, The Ryman, First Horizon Park, and First Bank Stadium all have events this week. Here are your happenings for the week and weekend in Nashville, TN.
This Saturday at Nissan Stadium College Football is here with the Music City Kickoff. The Ole Miss Rebels will be taking on the Louisville Cardinals in a great college football game. Kickoff begins at 6:30 pm with gates opening up at 4:30 pm. This will be one fun college football game to attend.
Tonight at the Pinnacle there is another great performance. The band Social Distortion will offer a unforgettable night of music at 7:00 pm. Drop off and pick up location can be found on 9th Avenue North before and after the show.
The Ryman has another fantastic lineup this week beginning on Tuesday. At 7:30 pm Tuesday Rock The Ryman will be taking place. Wednesday at 8:00 pm Masego will offer another epic show. Thursday The Pretty Reckless will take the stage at 7:30 pm. Finally this weekend offers a unforgettable show on Friday and Saturday. Ray Lamontagne will bring the house down in a two night show beginning at 7:30 pm.
Baseball is back in action this week starting this Tuesday. The Nashville Sounds will be hosting Louisville. Game times this week are Tuesday through Saturday at 6:35 pm with Sunday's game at 12:05 pm. Friday evening there will be fireworks and if you are a fan of baseball then this one to check out in the Germantown area of Nashville.
First Bank Stadium has it first college football game of the season. This is the home of Vanderbilt Commodore Football and they will be hosting Austin Peay. The game begins at 6:00 pm on Saturday with drop off location on West End. For the best pick up location after the game walk over to Centennial Park.
Finally, at Ascend Amphitheater there is the Music City Kickoff on Saturday evening at 7:00 pm. Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett will offer a great evening of entertainment with College Football Season starting this weekend. Drop off location can be found on 1st Avenue South next to the venue.
