Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show!!!

My most recent post it note trip to Fort Lauderdale definitely did not disappoint. One thing that I enjoyed doing on Wednesday and Thursday evening after dining at 51st Street Fisheries and Coconuts was walking around the piers by the restaurants and admiring the various yachts anchored at each pier. This area of Florida is also home to many large events that involve boating and yachting.

Every fall this area of Florida is home to a very large event. There are individuals that travel from all over the world to experience this. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will be taking place this year again. The dates are from October 28 - November 1, 2026 and it is one that offers an incredible opportunity to view some of the most incredible yachts and boats in one place. Each day the show lasts until 7:00 pm with the exception of the last day Sunday that goes until 5:00 pm. There are seven different locations for the Boat Show and each one offers various ways to view the yachts. Some of these places include Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Las Olas Marina, Hall of Fame Marina, SuperYacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six South, Pier Sixty-Six Marina, Broward County Convention Center, and 17th Street Yacht Basin at Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina. There are over 1300 boats on display for this event. This is a large event with over 100,000 attendees each year.

For hotels there are several in the area but one that is within ten minutes of the boat show is the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach. For dining options check out Aruba Cafe, Coconuts, and 51st Street Fisheries.
