The area of middle Tennessee offers some great parks throughout the area. The majority of these parks has plenty of great out door activities for each one. One park has been one that I have going to since I was a kid and offers some positive qualities to and I even had a drop off near this stop the other night.

Edwin Warner Park is located near the Belle Meade and Bellevue area of Nashville. It is about twenty minutes southwest of the downtown area of Nashville. They offer great areas for hiking, picnic areas, and taking in the beauty of this park. It is also home to the Steeplechase which is occurs every Mother's Day. There are also Picnic Shelters throughout the area that a great for large groups and there are even grills at each shelter. On the Old Hickory Blvd side which is part of Percy Warner Park there is even a visitor center which provides valuable information about the parks, wildlife, and hiking trails. The park is open seven days a week and open to the public.

For dining nearby that has been recommended to me by post it note check out Le Peep, The Picnic, Sperry's, and Sportsman's Grill. For historical stops near the park you have Cheekwood and Belle Meade Winery and Mansion. Add a stop at Edwin Warner Park for a great outdoor experience when visiting Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
