Crown Fountain Chicago, Il!!!

In 2004 there was a architecture piece opened up near The Bean that would be part of the area that would offer a bit of expression for those that lived in the city. Spanish artists and architect Juame Plensa would share his imaginary talent with this piece that would become part of The Loop area. It is only a ten minute walk from the Riverwalk area of Chicago, IL and part of my most recent post it note journey
The Crown Fountain is a fifty foot tall structure that offers two towers that offer a fountain for both structures along with video. The video and pictures that are on the structures are around a 1,000 individuals who are the face of Chicago. As each face is displayed so is the fountain releasing the water for the fountain. One thing I noticed on this day in Chicago I was seeing the Crown Fountain is the amount of individuals, families, and groups enjoying the beauty of the structures while children ran through the fountains. The area is absolutely amazing with the architecture and seeing the beauty of the surrounding area.
The Crown Fountain is open seven days a week from 6:00 am until 11:00 pm. This is such a peaceful area of Chicago to explore in the midst of a bustling city. Check out the Crown Fountain when exploring the Windy City. #ridingwithkurt #postit #crownfountain
