When it comes to the Mid-Atlantic and New England states the area is connected by train. I had a great experience with Amtrak on my most recent post it note trip in this area of the United States. It is a fascinating way to travel as it was my first time doing Amtrak. Here is a great stretch that goes from Washington D.C. to New York City.

The start of this great train adventure begins at Union Station at Washington D.C. that has plenty of restaurants, shops, and is located in the northwest quadrant of the United States Capitol. The station has a waiting area where you wait to be called to your gate to depart on your train. The system is very organized to where you board and access your car. The seating is open and seats are very comfortable along with charging stations and plugs. There is also a beverage and food cart that offers also sorts of food and beverages.

As you depart from the station there are plenty of stops along this journey. Your first stop is New Carrollton, MD which is named after Charles Carroll who is one of the early signers of the Declaration of Independence. Baltimore, MD is the next stop which is home to Fort McHenry and a key port that was founded in 1729. Wilmington, DE is only 46 minutes away and is the original Swedish Colony founded in 1638. Philadelphia, PA is just 20 minutes away and home to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The next three stops are in New Jersey which consists of Trenton, Metropark, and Newark. The views of New York City from this point are very impressive where you can see buildings like the Freedom Tower and Empire State Building.

The final stop is Penn Station where you have easy access to the various sites of New York City. The entire length of this trip is about three and a half hours. If you are looking to adding a great journey by train then add an Amtrak Journey from Washington D.C. to New York City, NY. #ridinginwithkurt #postit #amtrak

I appreciate articles that focus on solving the actual cause instead of quick fixes. Professional odor removal in Montgomery County, MD can make homes feel much more comfortable after flooding, smoke exposure, or persistent damp conditions.
