Schermerhorn Symphony Center: Concert Season Has Begun!!!
The Schermerhorn Symphony Center is a beautiful architecture piece located in the heart of downtown Nashville, TN. It is home to the Nashville Symphony who offers some incredible performances including this previous summers series Dolly Parton Threads: My Songs In Symphony. The concert season has begun again starting this week with some great shows and performances along with having a post it note recommendation for this stop.
There is also great shows that are often performed here with out the Nashville Symphony. This evening there is an amazing show with two great musicians that is part of the Americana Music Scene. Tonight at 7:30 pm. Renee Fleming and Bela Fleck will offer a amazing performance that is centered around the celebration of the 250th for American History as well as the music of Appalachia. This will be an unforgettable performance.
The next symphony show is next week on Tuesday September 22, 2026 at 7:30 pm. They will be showing the movie Respect which is about the story of the Queen of Soul herself Aretha Franklin. They Nashville Symphony will be performing the music of the movie while the movie plays. This should be an unforgettable event.
Next Friday and Saturday September 25th - 26th at 7:30 pm there is a wonderful classical performance with the Nashville Symphony and Pianist Brad Mehldau. They will be performing the music of Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, and Mehldau in two evenings that will offer a unforgettable experience.
