Amerigo Italian Restaurant Nashville, TN!!!

Saturday evening I stopped at a place that I have been dining at for over 25 years. I have even had someone that recommended this restaurant by post it note. It is an Italian dining experience on the West End of Nashville located only eight minutes from the downtown area.

Amerigo's is a Italian Restaurant where they offer an incredible dining for both lunch and dinner. The menu ranges from appetizers, salads, pasta, Italian classic entree dishes, pizza, and dessert. For the starter I had their Caesar Salad which consist of romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and house made croutons, along with their house made Caesar dressing. The entire salad is very good and with a dressing that is excellent. They serve Focaccia Bread with every meal with infused oil that is a awesome. For the main entree I had their Veal Masala which is always a hit with me. The dish consist of breaded veal sauteed in a marsala sauce with artichokes and mushrooms and topped on a Fettuccini. The whole dish has tremendous flavor with the marsala sauce that is very velvety in texture and the veal very tender. For wine I had Buttino a Pinot Grigio from Italy that paired well with both the Caesar Salad and Veal Marsala.

The service provided by the bartender was excellent along with an ambiance that is awesome. They are open seven days a week with lunch beginning at 11:00 am and they close at 10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday while on Friday and Saturday they close at 10:30 pm.
