Last night after checking in at the hotel and getting settled I headed to my first Post-it Note stop of the trip. Some time back and individual who I gave a ride recommended to me a pizza stop in the suburbs of Denver. It was located about twenty minutes north of my hotel and twenty minutes east of downtown Denver. The recommended stop did not disappoint.

Walter 303 Pizzeria and Publik House offers very creative pizza, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, and an extensive local beer menu. They even offer half and half on their pizzas to mix and match two different styles of their tasty pizzas. I went with the The Big Fizz and the Hawaiian To The Max. The crust was awesome, very thin, light, and a light crunch. The sauce for the pizza had great flavor but didn't over power the pizza. The Big Fizz is their version of the supreme pizza with Pepperoni, Salami, White Onion, Green Bell Pepper, Mushroom, Seasoned Ground Beef, Black Olive, Polidori Italian Sausage, and Mozzarella. The Hawaiian To The Max consists of BBQ Marinara Sauce, Pineapple, Jalapeño, Bacon, Mozzarella. Both styles were fantastic and did not disappoint. The brew of choice for dinner was one that was recommended to me by the server it was called Bruz a locally brewed Vienna Lager that had tremendous flavor without being to hoppy.

The service was excellent and cool ambiance. It is definitely a hidden gem. Next time you're in the Lowry area of Denver add a stop at Walter 303. #ridingwithkurt #delta #postit
