Voodoo Gumbo Bellevue, TN!!!

Louisiana is always popular for their food, Cajun, and Creole cuisine. Sometime ago I was given a post it note for a place that I Have featured a couple times over the past three years but the other evening I made a stop for some amazing Louisiana take out. It is located in Bellevue, TN only twenty minutes from downtown Nashville, TN.

Voodoo Gumbo offers all things Louisiana in a quaint little restaurant. The menu ranges from the varieties of Creole and Cajun Cuisine. The offer great dishes from gumbos, etouffee, po boy, platters, and other great dishes. For starters I had their Seafood Gumbo which offered a deep flavor of the roux, holy trinity, shrimp, and crab. The dish was topped with riced and the balance of flavor was immense. For the main course I had their Shrimp Po Boy which consist of Fried Shrimp tucked in a delicious baguette and topped with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and mayo plus I added their remoulade which is also excellent. The entire Po Boy was a home run and was left content with both dishes.

The service is excellent along with a very Cajun ambiance. They are open six days a week from Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30 am until 8:30 pm. Add a great Cajun dining stop at Voodoo Gumbo in Bellevue when visiting Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt #postit
