Voodoo Gumbo Bellevue, TN!!!

The food scene in Nashville offers a little bit of every cuisine. A couple of years ago a individual provided me a post it note recommendation to a New Orleans dining experience in the Bellevue area. If you are a fan of Cajun and Creole food, then you will want to check out this spot.

Voodoo Gumbo is a true Cajun and Creole dining experience. I have featured this place a couple of times and every time this place does not disappoint. The menu ranges from traditional dishes from the New Orleans area. They offer appetizers, Po Boys, platters, and desserts. Last night I picked up a couple of their great dishes on my way home. I started with the Etouffee which was absolutely delicious with crawfish and shrimp in a rich broth and the holy trinity. For my main dish I went with their Shrimp Po Boy. The Shrimp was breaded and fried to perfection and served in a tasty baguette with lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, and I added their flavorful remoulade. The service was awesome and the ambiance inside resembles that of New Orleans.
