The food scene in Nashville, TN has really emerged over the last three years. There are a few dining options that have stood the test of time even still staying in business for over fifty years. There are two iconic breakfast stops that I have always enjoyed and have even recieved post it notes for these places. I even had a group from England the other day who enjoyed one of these places while visiting here.

The Pancake Pantry in Hillsboro Village is a legendary stop that has been serving pancakes for over fifty years. The pancakes are amazing and they offer so many great varieties. The omelets are just as good and the American Omelet will start your day off right with ham, onions, green peppers, tomatoes, and cheese served in to a perfectly cooked omelet. The dish is served with two fluffy pancakes that will challenge your belt line. The service is always good and well worth the wait. They also have a location in on 4th Avenue South next to the Hyatt Centric Hotel.

Before the days of Broadway and everything that Nashville has become there was a stop near the Pasquo area of Nashville that motorists would stop at to stay at the motel and enjoy the southern cuisine of this stop. The Loveless Cafe has always been a legendary dining and breakfast location. The menu ranges from very traditional breakfast dishes to southern favorites. Their biscuits are always a hit and are limitless. They are served with vairous jams and jellies. They are also known for their smoked meets like their country ham which is also a favorite of mine along with their hashbrown casserole and biscuits and gravy. The service will not let you down along with the dining experience and the atmosphere. While you wait for your table you can check out the various shops around the property.

The Loveless Cafe is located near the Natchez Trace Parkway which is a amazing parkway that goes from Western Nashville to Natchez, Mississippi. The original Pancake Pantry is located in Hillsboro Village which has great shops on 21st Avenue. The Pancake Pantry and Loveless cafe are two epic stops to add when visiting Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
