Recently, I've had several discussions about various states that I've enjoyed traveling to by post-it notes. One state in particular keeps coming up in these discussions. Three years ago,I landed in this state on my way to visit a friend's wedding in Idaho. I have made a couple more stops in the state since then.

The state is Utah and one that will not disappoint you, especially if you're a fan of the outdoors. If you are looking to add Utah as a place to travel to this year t,en here are some amazing places to check out.

Salt Lake City has a great airport wh,ch is a Delta Hub. There is one sandwich place to check out. Moochie's Meatballs offers exceptional subs. The Philly and Meatball Sub are both amazing. Along with their fries, you won't go wrong with this tasty spot. The Great Salt Lake is one where you can't tell where the sky meets the water. There are various areas you can access the lake from along with a visitor center. You can even draw your aspirations in the sand next to the lake and have even done so.

Arches National Park is located just outside of Moab and offers over 2000 various arches throughout the National Park. One thing to note is that you'll need to make reservations prior to visiting. The views, drive, and drivehikes throughout this incredible national park are well worth visiting. For dining in Green River, check out Tamarisk Restaurant, which offered exceptional Southwestern cuisine.

Zion is everything it lives up to. The park has an awesome visitor center and shuttles that take you to various hiking trails throughout the park. Outside the park there is dining and shopping. I had a great meal at The Whiptail Grill, which was a local recommendation. I stayed in Saint George, Utah, at the Ramada by Wyndham Saint George.

The state of Utah offers so much to see and do. Arches and Zion National Parks were recommended to me by post-it notes, and the experience was amazing. I found early June as a great time to visit the state, but I have also learned that you can visit the state anytime of the year. Look at adding Utah for your next westward adventure in your next stop out west. #ridingwithkurt
