The New Nissan Stadium

I attended my first Titans game back in 1999. It was the inaugural season and the year the Titans made the Super Bowl. Since then, I have had many memories with the up and down the team has had to offer. As a season ticket holder, it's been a commitment to the future of the Tennessee Titans. Yesterday, I made a future commitment to the team as a fan and the city of Nashville as well as a team that has a post-it note from one dedicated fan. I picked out my seats for the new Nissan Stadium and was able to hang my signed guitar pick. This is something I'm extremely excited to be a part of.
The new Nissan Stadium will be state of the art with several incredible features. The stadium will seat around 60,000 and be over 2 million square feet, where the current stadium is around 1.6 million square feet. The stadium will go from 24 events a year to over 50. The concessions will be near every section as well as more bathrooms. There will be areas to access outside seating prior to events with tables and chairs. Inside near the concessions there are tables for eating. Every seat in the stadium will be padded, and there is not a bad seat in the stadium. The field itself will run East to West, a change from the current north to south. The home field side will be on the north side while the visitor is on the south side. There is not a bad seat in the stadium. They are planning to begin first with concerts around April of 2027 with the inaugural season occurring that year for the Tennessee Titans.
This is all part of the new Nashville. The deconstruction of the current stadium will occur around 2027. This will lead to the east bank project where the development of the area across from downtown Nashville will occur. This area of Nashville will offer a Riverwalk that has restaurants, bars, hotels, event spaces, and other attractions. This is just the beginning of Nashville, and I am looking forward to being a part of this journey with the city and the Tennessee Titans. #ridingwithkurt
