Yesterday, I took a group who were from upstate New York to a very historical dining experience located on Highway 100. This place has a post-it note for it and has been featured before but is a place you'll want to add for great southern food, history,  and a pleasant drive out to the area. The dining experience is the Loveless Cafe located near Bellevue, TN.

The Loveless Cafe was first established as a restaurant and motel located on Highway 100 and near the Natchez Trace Parkway.  They opened up in 1931, and since then, they have been offering fried chicken,  endless biscuits,  tasty jams, and other great southern foods. They offer a couple of gift shops with some of the items served at the restaurant you can take home with you. Additionally,  the original property had a fourteen room motel that individuals could stay at on their drives from Memphis and Mississippi to Nashville before the days of the Interstate. These buildings are now home to the gift shops and stores located near the property.

Nearby, you can take a scenic drive on The Natchez Trace Parkway. You'll definitely want to stop at the Natchez Trace Parkway Bridge, which stretches across the valley over Highway 96. It's over one hundred feet tall, and the views from  the top are breathtaking and span over 590 feet.  The bridge was completed in 1994 , and those who traveled along the Parkway always appreciate the architecture of the majestic bridge.

The Loveless Cafe is one you can experience year-round for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu offers a variety of smoked meats, fried chicken,  southern classics,  and southern sides. The restaurant is located about twenty-five minutes west of Nashville. Add a dining experience at the Loveless Cafe on your next visit to the West Side area of Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
