The arts are a big part of the culture here in Nashville, TN. The music, museums, and attractions throughout the city are various. One place to explore located on Broadway is The Frist Art Museum.
The Frist Art Museum is home to all sorts of art pieces and rotating art displays. There are some permanent exhibits on display while the seasonal art pieces are ones you'll not want to miss. Currently, there are several seasonal displays, including Teens Take The Frist, Avenues to a Great City, Fabric of a Nation, Art In The Atrium, and Venice and the Ottoman Empire. Tours are available Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The hours and days of operation for the Frist are Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 am until 5:30 pm. On Sunday it's is open from 1:00 pm until 5:30 pm. Admission into the Frist is $20 for adults, $16 for senior citizens, veterans, and college students with ID. It is also free to thise 18 and under. There is dining at the Frist with Cafe Cheeserie.
Dining options around the Frist that have been recommended to me by post-it notes include The Grange at The Grand Hyatt, The Finch, The Mockingbird, and Luogo. Other attractions nearby include The Gibson Garage at Cummins Station and The Gulch. For hotels, look at The Grand Hyatt, which is adjacent to the Frist. Excellent service from the second you arrive. Plus, they offer very spacious rooms, a bar with live music, and an easy walk to the Frist, Broadway, and the Gulch. An experience at the Frist is a must, especially if you're a fan of the arts with plenty of other experiences around the museum. #ridingwithkurt
