The Frist Art Museum is part of the history of Nashville. The building is the original main post office constructed in 1934. The building was listed as the registered historical places in 1984. The Museum was then added later on as the Frist family donated money for the creation of this Art Center in the heart of downtown Nashville. Today, the Museum offers various exhibits and art pieces.
Today, three exhibits begin their feature at this historical venue in Nashville. Each exhibit begins today and runs through May 4th, 2025. These exhibits are a limited time, and all three are unique. Here are the details about each exhibit.
The First Exhibit is The Farm To Table - Identified In The Art of Impressionism, each art piece identifies food, gastronomy, and national identity for the country of France in the 19th century.
The second exhibit is the Tennessee Harvest depicting the Tennessee culture from the 1870s to the 1920s. The main focus of the art pieces is Tennessee agriculture, food, and cultivation.
The Third Exhibit is the M. Florine Démosthène and Didier William offer a Haitian art experience. They provide art through their countries' homeland with both spiritual and cultural depictions.
