Local business in Nashville, TN is just as important as the music,  honky tonks,  history,  and other great features that make up this town. One place I stopped by yesterday was a local market that is a part Butcher shop,  part organic market,  and part deli. I first found out about Smokin Oaks Organic Farm and Market some time back and have stopped by a few times to pick up their incredible meat selections,  sides, local foods, and other Organic plus they have a post-it note for this stop. 

Located on 8th Avenue about eight minutes from downtown Nashville this little market is one to check out especially if you're looking for all things local. The deli has a awesome sandwich selection that are freshly made. If you're looking for local raised meats then this is your stop. Additionally,  they offer great pre-made dinner options and sides that are made in house. There is even a dining room to enjoy their food for lunch and try one of their local beverages or Organic drinks.

Near the market are a couple stops including Fort, Negley,  Belmont University and Mansion,  Zanies, and 12th Avenue South.
