Yesterday, I was taking an individual to the airport who was from Arizona. We chatted about the state and the various areas the state has to offer. The northern part of Arizona was my fifth post-it note stop, and it didn't disappoint. Here are four places to add when visiting Northern Arizona.

Monument Valley - Located in the Northwestern corner of Arizona, this a must stop for amazing desert views of the buttes on the Navajo reservation.

Navajo Bridge - Stretches across the Colorado River. Incredible views with even sightings of the California Condor. There is a visitor center. Plus, there is an area to walk across the bridge.

Vermillion Cliffs - National reserve in Northern Arizona along Highway 88A. Amazing drive, stops with breathtaking scenery, and hiking.

Northern Rim of the Grand Canyon - This side of the Grand Canyon is 1500 feet height than the Southern Rim. Visitor Center, the views are stunning, and hiking is available.

These four stops are awesome and ones that i truly enjoyed. You can look at staying in Page, Arizona, which is halfway between Monument Valley and the Northern Rim of The Grand Canyon. I stayed at the Quality Inn View Lake Powell, which offered very comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Add these four stops next time you're in Northern Arizona. #ridingwithkurt
