There are several places that I look forward to traveling to, but there are also several states that I look forward to traveling back to. Having visited the lower forty-eight states and seeing so much beauty that the United States has to offer, you can never get enough. One such place is New Mexico. The Southwestern state offers incredible food, sites, and towns. Two such towns are Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
The state of New Mexico was my 48th state and one I'll never forget crossing the border from Arizona to Bew Mexico over two years ago. Both Santa Fe and Albuquerque offer so much to see and do. The town of Santa Fe offers plenty of shopping, art galleries, and other stops the city is known for. The town of Albuquerque has great dining and some exceptional hatch green chili. One stop to add is Garcia's that offers exceptional Southwestern food and their Hatch Green Chili. One stop to add is the Petroglyph National Monument. This place is awesome, and the sketching on he rocks is unbelievable. There is a visitor center about ten minutes away. For hotels, I stayed in Santa Fe at the Inn At Santa Fe Surestay Collection By Best Western. The hotel was very comfortable and offered a great nights rest after a long drive to Santa Fe.
New Mexico offers so many exceptional stops and has plenty of recommendations by post-it notes that I look forward to visiting this great state again. The Albuquerque airport is very easy to fly out of and an easy way to get to your next destination. Add New Mexico for your next upcoming trip with the best time visit in the fall or spring. #ridingwithkurt
