The city of Nashville offers plenty of great music historical stops. One such place that I often recommend that was even recommended to me by one their employees on a post-it note is The Musicians Hall of Fame located up on the North side of downtown near 4th Avenue North It covers all genres of music.
The venue itself is one of the older music concert halls that was built in 1962, which is Nashville's second oldest music venue after the completion of the Ryman and before the Grand Ole Opry Today, it is home to the Musicians Hall of Fame, which covers all genres of music. They offer a great ten minute video at the beginning that covers all aspects of music in Nashville as well as other areas of the world as it relates to music. After the video, you are immersed into a world of music history and some of the greatest individuals and bands to ever play music along with their platinum albums and memorabilia. There are various exhibits that offer some of the greatest from Nashville, Motown, and L.A. Plus exhibits from the British Invasion groups. There are interactive opportunities throughout the museum and areas to see various Grammy's. There is a gift shop available and ticket prices are around $30.
This is part of the Hop On Hop Off Trolley Tour and one to check out. There are dining options nearby that have been recommended to me by post-it notes, including Stateside Kitchen, Various Stops at Printer's Alley, and Ophelia's. Add a stop at the Musicians Hall of Fame for your next music history experience in Nashville, TN!!! #ridingwithkurt
