Last night I arrived in San Antonio after a great flight on Delta Air Lines. The airport was easy to navigate through to the baggage claim and the Uber pickup was conveniently located right outside the door. The ride from the airport to the hotel was about fifteen minutes.

After checking into the hotel, I headed to my first post it note stop for dinner. The walk was less than ten minutes and very scenic throughout the downtown area. For dinner I ate at Mi Tierra which was a recommendation that I had been given sometime back. The food was amazing and service was awesome. The food is traditonal Tex Mex and the menu ranges from appetizers, classic dishes, and some specialty items. The chips and salsa were very good and you could tell they were homemade. The margarita was very good and was not to sweet either. For the entree I had their home-made Tamales with pork inside and topped with a delicious red chili sauce. It was served with rice and beans which were good as well. The service was excellent and had a very cool ambiance that reflected the San Antonio culture.

For hotels I am staying at the AC Hotel Riverwalk. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It is very convenient to all the sites throughout San Antonio. The individual that recommended me this place was not wrong when it comes to convenience.

Thus far I am very impressed with the city of San Antonio. Looking forward to the next couple of days here and the other places have recommended to me by post it note. Look at adding Mi Tierra for a great Tex Mex experience in San Antonio. #ridingwithkurt #delta #postit
