J. Alexander's Nashville, TN

The other night I ended up having dinner with mom at one place she has always enjoyed. She has had many memories at this spot taking many friends and family over the years of her long tenure as a Nashville resident. She even got her own post it note for this dining experience near the Belle Meade area of Nashville.

J. Alexander's in the Belle Meade area of Nashville offers a great lunch and dining spot. They offer delicious appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entree items, as well as a great wine selection. For starters I had their Chicken Pasta Soup that was quite flavorful and offered a velvety texture. For the entree I had their Prime Rib which was perfectly cooked and the flavors in the cut of meat were excellent. The Au Jus and horseradish sauce were a nice addition to the cut of meat. As my side I had their loaded baked potato which was fantastic with butter, sour cream, chive, and bacon. For wines I had their Chalk Hill Chardonnay that paired well with the soup. For the entree wine I had their Shinas Shiraz that balanced the flavors of the wine with the Prime Rib. The service was excellent and ambiance very nice. Would recommend making reservations especially on Friday and Saturday night.

J. Alexander's has multiple locations and every time I have dined with them it always has been a great dining experience. The Belle Meade location is near several great tourist stops and shopping. The Belle Meade Mansion and Winery and Cheekwood Mansion are within ten minutes of the restaurant. Add J.
