The food scene is a big part of the Nashville experience. You can find every type of cuisine here in the music city including Southern, Italian, Indian, South American, European, Asian, Australian, and other great cuisines. One of the more popular foods in Nashville is the Nashville Hot Chicken. There are several of different restaurants that offer this iconic Nashville dish but here are four that I have enjoyed that were recommended to me by post it note.

Prince's Hot Chicken is the original hot chicken restaurant. They are located in the Assembly Food Hall and on Nolensville Pike. The chicken is very good with various heat levels. The chicken sandwich and fried chicken both had a great balance of flavor and heat.

Hattie B's has multiple locations including on Charlotte Ave, 8th Avenue, Downtown at the Fifth and Broadway Building, The Airport, and at Nissan Stadium. The chicken is very flavorful with heat levels from no heat to double cluck. I had their mild with both the tenders and fried chicken which are both excellent.

The Stillery Midtown I found to have really good Hot Chicken. I had it served over a Wedge Salad that offered a nice balance between to heat and the Blue Cheese dressing. They also offer live music and is located on Division Street.

Party Fowl offers a great variety of Hot Chicken heat levels. I had their mild hot chicken with the beignets which was very good with the balance of hot chicken and sweetness of the beignets. They have two locations in Donelson and near Vanderbilt University on 21st Avenue.

All four locations offer great service and have great ambiances. Plus the locations for all the restaurants are close to other great tourist locations throughout the city. Add one of these great Hot Chicken stops on your next visit to Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkur
