Yesterday, I brought a couple from BNA to a historical area of Nashville who was visiting here from Michigan. The area located on Fourth Avenue North has been around since the 1700s. This is the original area for Fort Nashboro, and on April 2, 1781, the Battle of the Bluff occurred. The early settlers who were under the command of James Robertson were saved that day when his wife released the dogs into the Forrest on the native Americans and which would lead to victory and the first being saved. Fast forward to the 1900s, the corner known as Fourth and Church was originally known as Cherry and Spring Street and home to a historic hotel known as the Noel Hotel in the 1930s.
Today, this corner at Fourth and Church is home to The Noelle Hotel along with great dining and history nearby. The 224 room boutique hotel offers charm and beautiful architecture with this property. The art deco and distinctive historical look offers hints of the hotels' past. For dining, the hotel offers several of great options, including Lona, Rare Bird, Hidden Bar, Trade Bar, and Drug Store Coffee. The hotel offers event space and a rooftop. Located only five minutes to Broadway and short walk to Printer's Alley, and not far from Fifth and Broadway as well as Assembly Food Hall. Five minute walk to Musicians Hall of Fame. Ten minute walk to Nashville Farmers Market, Bicentennial Mall, and The Tennessee State Museum. Additionally, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Ryman, and Johnny Cash Museum are about a ten minutes walk. Tue ride from BNA to Noelle is less than twenty minutes. Note that if you're heading to the airport after 3:00 pm, allow yourself extra time getting to the airport turmeric to rush hour traffic.
Add a stay at the historical Noelle Hotel on your next visit to Nashville. Plus, this is a stop that has been recommended to me by post-it notes. Enjoy an incredible hotel stay along with great dining, friendly staff, and history with experiencing everything that Fourth Avenue North has to offer. #ridingwithkurt
