In Nashville, TN when it comes to the outdoors there are plenty of great options. There are places to go hiking throughout this city that offers great views of nature and wildlife. There is one place that is located just west of the city that offers a variety of hiking trails.

Percy Warner Park is truly a beautiful state park that is nestled between Bellevue and Belle Meade. They offer a great visitor and nature center along with park rangers who can provide valuable information about the park. There are a variety of hiking trails throughout the park that you can go from simple to a little more challenging. There is a paved route that can offer a nice loop around the park that you can walk or bike on. The amount of trails through out the park is over sixty miles. Some of the trails include the Mossy Ridge Trail, Warner Woods Trail, and four other trails that range from 1.6 miles to 11.2 miles. Some of the wildlife you may see includes white tail deer, turkey, owls, squirrels, chipmunks, and other species. This time of year is a great time to visit with the changing of the leaves. There are spots with picnic benches to enjoy around the area as well.

Nearby in Belle Meade if you are looking for a great restaurant that was recommended to me by post it note to pick up some to go to enjoy in the park check out The Picnic. They are open from 6:00 am until 8:00 pm daily. If you are fan of the outdoors then check out Percy Warner Park in Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt #postit #percywarnerpark
