A weekend in Nashville, TN, is never boring. There are always great activities to check out throughout the area. This one offers events for all ages. There are experiences at Bridgestone, The Ryman, The Grand Ole Opry, and The Schermerhorn, plus other amazing venues. Here is a lineup for all the things going on this weekend.
The circus is back in town at the Bridgestone Arena. The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Presents The Greatest Show on Earth. This long-standing circus offers some of the most amazing feats and performances. The show begins on Friday and runs through Sunday. On Friday the show begins at 7:00 pm. On Saturday there are three shows at 11:00 am, 3:00 pm, and 7:00 pm. On Sunday they have a 1:00 pm show and 5:00 pm show. This is an all ages event, and I have even taken my kids to this awesome circus.
At The Ryman on Saturday, East Texas Music sensation Paul Cauthon takes the stage. Travis Bolt and The Kernal will be opening up for him. The show begins at 8:00 pm.
The Schermerhorn offers an incredible talent with Julia Wolfe performing with the Nashville Symphony this weekend. Julia Wolfe's Flower Power with the Nashville Symphony will be one you'll not want to miss. They will also be performing The Overture to the Flying Dutchman and Ludwig Von Beethovens Symphony No. 7. The show times on Friday and Saturday are at 7:30 pm while on Sunday the performance is at 2:00 pm.
The Grand Ole Opry is celebrating 100 years. Full lineup Friday through Sunday. Shows begin each night at 7:00 pm.
The Listening Room, Brooklyn Bowl, Basement, Basement East, and Exit Inn all have a great lineup as well. These are smaller venues but offer incredible talent.
For pick-up locations after the events in downtown Nashville, walk up to 8th and Broadway, 7th and Church, over to the Omni Hotel, or over the Joseph Hotel. There are many great events with the circus, live music, and great food at places like Assembly Food Hall, which is always a post-it note recommendation as well as other great eateries in downtown Nashville It's another fantastic weekend in Nashville, TN. #ridingwithkurt
