Happenings In Nashville, TN This Weekend

The Fourth of July and the weekend are just one day away. There is the Big Bash on Broadway on Friday, but there are plenty of other events and experiences occurring as well. Here are your happenings for the weekend in Nashville, TN.

On Saturday at the Ryman Auditorium iconic rock artist, Elvis Costello will be performing at 8:00 pm along with Charlie Sexton. The Ryman is located on 4th Avenue North. For drop-off locations, look at 4th Avenue North and Commerce Street.

Ascend Amphitheater has two shows on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, rap artists Mike will perform at 8:30 pm. On Sunday evening, the Nashville Symphony takes the stage with Star Wars Under The Stars. The show begins at 8:00 pm with a drop-off location on 1st Avenue next to the Amphitheater.

At Geodis Park on Saturday at 7:30 pm, Nashville SC takes on Philadelphia Union. Geodis Park is located just ten minutes southeast of downtown. There is a drop-off and pick-up location next to the stadium.

For dining prior to the events that were recommended to me by post-it notes include Assembly Food Hall downtown, M.L. Rose on 8th Avenue, Harper's Steakhouse in the SOBRO area, and many more. For pick-ups this weekend, you'll definitely want to walk out to above 8th Avenue, past Church Street or Korean Veterans Boulevard, as many of the roads will be blocked off.
